Covid-19 Measures

at the Hotel Drei Kronen Vienna

Dear guests, your safety and health are very important to us. In order to make your stay at the Hotel Drei Kronen pleasant and safe, we would like to inform you about our current Covid-19 regulations.Since April 16, 2022, further easing of the regulations has come into force.

Access to the hotel

As of April 16, 2022, no G-proof is required to access the hotel. A 3G proof is only required when entering Austria.

Entering Austria

The “3G rule” applies when entering Austria, i.e. you must be fully vaccinated or recovered or tested (PCR test max. 72 hours or official antigen test max. 24 hours old); no quarantine. 

The following documents in German or English are required as a verification for the 3G rule:

• Covid-19 vaccination certificate (vaccination confirmation of full immunization)
• a medical certificate or a notice of separation after illness (valid for 6 months
• a negative PCR test (valid for 72 hours; in Vienna only valid for 48 hours) or a negative antigen test (valid for 24 hours)
• Children up to the age of 12 are exempt from the obligation to provide proof.

Staff testing and training

All employees in our hotel have been vaccinated according to the 2-G rule, have recovered and are tested weekly. All employees have been intensively and comprehensively trained in the current hygiene guidelines and measures and are very familiar with our hygiene measures.

FFP-2 masks

Wearing an FFP2 mask is mandatory only in taxis, public transport and its stations, everyday facilities (supermarket, post office, pharmacy, bank...) and authorities.

Public areas

All public areas are equipped with hand disinfectant dispensers. Cleaning frequencies have been increased throughout the home with a specific focus on switches, knobs, remote controls or door and window handles.

Check-in/out

Check-in/outCheck-in at the hotel is contactless as far as possible. There are plexiglass divider at the reception to protect our guests and employees. Please note the distance markings on the floor, where available. Cashless payment is always possible, safe and hygienic. The room key cards are disinfected before each issue.

Room disinfection

In the rooms, after careful cleaning and ventilation, virucidal disinfectants from the Hagleitner company are used. Currently, due to the current corona and hygiene regulations, we do not use bedspreads and decorative cushions.
